A note from the founders

Your room, our cake.

A wedding cake is part of the room. It stands in your photographs, it is the last thing guests see before the dancing, and it has to taste as good as it looks.

Oui Do is a London studio for wedding and celebration cakes, founded by two Le Cordon Bleu–trained pastry chefs whose kitchens include COYA, Hide, Peggy Porschen, Avli by Tasha’s, Frog by Adam Handling and Oswald’s.

We pair a pastry chef’s approach to flavour with a cake artist’s approach to design. This site shows a selection of our work. If couples ask you about cakes, we would love to be a name you can trust.

How we bake

Most cakes in London look beautiful and taste the same.

We pair a pastry chef’s approach to flavour with a cake artist’s approach to design. The flavours are developed the way a restaurant pastry section would develop a dessert, and the design is built the way a cake artist builds a showpiece.

The menu

Short, seasonal, and a few classics.

We keep the menu short on purpose. A seasonal menu changes four times a year, so couples marrying in October taste something different from couples marrying in May. Alongside it sits a classic menu of five flavours that stays all year, for the couples who know exactly what they want.
